EPMA Celebrates Eight-Year Anniversary with the Grand Opening of New Houston Headquarters

EPMA hosted clients, business partners and guests at its Houston headquarters to celebrate the company’s eight-year anniversary and the grand opening of the new campus. Guests were treated to a tour of the office featuring exhibitions of EPMA products and services with a live demonstration of EPMA’s latest development, PPMVUE, a user-friendly and completely customizable project dashboard and reporting tool. The event culminated in a moving address from EPMA Founder and CEO, Michael Samadi, in reflection of the company’s eight-year journey to success.

The Journey of EPMA

Having spent his entire life in London, at the age of twenty-seven Samadi moved to Houston to pursue the American dream of prosperity. After a lucrative twelve-year career as a consultant for the nation’s largest consulting firms, including Microsoft, Samadi left his job to build EPMA, “I left my job and started this company because I wanted to deliver REAL value to clients…I genuinely started this because I was passionate that my idea could actually impact an entire industry” said Samadi. As an IT Project Manager in the early 2000’s, he quickly realized that organizations relied far too much on technology to solve all of their problems and developed the EPMA method of integrating People and Process with Technology. This proven method is the foundation of EPMA’s eight-year success and has allowed them to branch out beyond project management consulting to provide staffing, Cloud Hosting, application development and support for their clients.

In addition to its products and services, EPMA has expanded its workforce in the eight years since its conception. In 2010, the original EPMA office consisted of only 2 employees who joined Samadi at his West University home. Since then, EPMA has grown at a triple digit pace while outgrowing two headquarters and earning awards such as one of the “Top 1000 Fastest Growing Companies in America” by Inc. Magazine and one of the “Best and Brightest Companies to Work For” by National Association for Business Resources. A two-year project from conception to completion, the new EPMA office is a strategic location that conveniently serves local and international clients with ease. In fact, only 25% of EPMA’s clients are based in Houston, the remainder are spread across the nation and internationally from Europe, Middle East and Asia.

The new EPMA office is conveniently located in the Executive Plaza on the Southwest Freeway in Houston. With plans to expand the space even further in 2019, Michael Samadi is determined that the EPMA office continue to reflect his passion, “this mix of workspaces…the design, the décor…is really more about the culture of this company.
