Managing Your Career as a Project Management Professional
The theme of the 2019 PMI Houston Conference focused on guiding project management professionals in managing their own careers. The event featured a four-stage approach to cultivating a PM career to include Launching Your Career, Charting Your Course, Sharpening Your Edge and Building Your Legacy. Each career stage was addressed within the scope of Technical Project Management, Strategic and Business Management or Leadership. The conference offered forty-six breakout sessions hosted by industry leaders to address each career stage during the two-day conference.
